The Manji Handbook app collects nothing. The website counts visits anonymously, and your scores stay on your device.

This policy covers the Manji Handbook app and the website at manji-handbook.app, including the version you can install from it. It explains what information each one handles and why.
The Manji Handbook app
The app does not collect, store or share any personal data, and contains no analytics, ads or tracking. Your best training scores are stored only on your device, and you can delete them at any time from Options. Links in the app, such as support email and Reddit, open in other apps, which have their own privacy policies.
What the website collects
The website uses Vercel Web Analytics to count visits. It uses no third-party cookies, tells visits apart with a hash that is discarded after 24 hours, and does not track you across other sites or build a profile of you. It tells us, in aggregate:
- Which pages are visited
- Where visitors came from, such as a search engine or a link on another site
- Which country visits come from
- The type of device, browser and operating system
Hosting
The website is hosted by Vercel. Like any web host, Vercel receives your IP address and details of each request in order to serve the site and keep it secure. Vercel has its own privacy policy.
What stays on your device
The website keeps a few things in your browser, and never sends them to us:
- Your best training scores, which you can delete at any time from Options
- A copy of the site, so that it works offline
How we use this information
We use the aggregate figures to understand which content is most useful, find and fix problems and improve the site. We do not sell them, show ads or make decisions about you.
Children's privacy
Manji Handbook is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe we have, please contact us so we can promptly delete it.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights over your personal data, including the right to access it or ask for it to be deleted. Our analytics do not identify you, so we hold no individual data to access or delete. If you have other concerns, please contact us.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a new date.
